A Letter from Jordan & Kat
Thank you for taking the time to get to know us. We are a fun and active family of three and we love nothing more than to spend time together. Adoption has always been in our hearts and, after a difficult pregnancy with our son, Jack, we knew God was sending us in the right direction. Our life as a family is filled with hugs, belly laughs, and cuddles. We enjoy going on nightly walks by the water and weekend adventures. We love Disney, which always brings magic into our home, vacations, and daily lives. We have so much love to give and are excited to share our hearts, love, laughter, and passion for life with your child.
We are an energetic, young family of three who love spending time together. We became best friends in high school when we sat next to each other in a history class. We’ve been inseparable ever since. Our love and trust is built on our strong friendship. We have been married for almost five amazing years and we can honestly say we are living our happiest lives. We often walk the few blocks down to the beach, stopping to play at the playground, where our son, Jack, can play on his favorite pirate ship. We enjoy swimming in the pool, exploring outdoors, day trips to the beach and zoo, and spending time with our extended family. Fun and education activities are important to us and we are excited to share them with your child.
Jordan is the most loving, supportive, and hard-working man I’ve ever known. His first love is his family while his second is computers. He is a computer geek at heart and he is thrilled to show his children all he knows in the new generation of technology. Jordan is kind and generous and the first one to lend a helping hand. Jordan loves going on adventures to the science center, theme parks, professional sports games, and even going on sunset boat rides. He is a wonderful dad and is always playing with Jack whether it be with toy cars, kicking the ball, coloring, or making a tent in the living room. He loves playing and watching sports and is excited to be a team coach someday.
Kat is and always has been my best friend with an enormous, loving heart. I knew early on that I always wanted to be with this smart, beautiful, and caring woman. It amazes me how she is able to bring us all together to create this fun and exciting life. A few of her hobbies include reading, gardening, planning Disney trips, running Disney 10ks, and baking. She’s a lifetime Girl Scout and it has taught her to value herself, her friendships, and her community. I witness her love and compassion each and every day when she is with our son Jack. She is an amazing mother with so much love to give! I know she is excited to sing and read bedtime stories to our next child as well as shower them with unconditional love.
Jack is our adventurous two-year-old son. He is a happy, charming, boy with an infectious smile! He is brave and loves to climb and swing. Jack spends his days playing with cars and playdoh, doing puzzles, and blowing bubbles. He is so sweet and generous; we know he will be an amazing big brother!
Our families are very active in our lives, we celebrate every birthday, award, and milestone together. A few times a year we take a family vacation (extended family included) to Walt Disney World. It is one of our most cherished traditions, especially our trip for Christmas time. Our families are thrilled to welcome our next child into the family!
Each year we have spent time slowly building our forever home with its original doors, doorknobs, and windows. We fell in love with its character and welcoming front porch. Our third bedroom has been converted into a neutral nursery with loads of natural light. Our home is located blocks away from the beach and right around the corner from Meme and Pop (Kat’s Mom and Dad). We walk or ride our bikes to the summer Luau, enjoy movies by the beach, and always enjoy the Fourth of July fireworks.
We promise to provide your child with a stable, loving and supported foundation, that includes family, faith, education and most of all happiness. We promise to teach and encourage them to strive and to follow their dreams. We will make sure they have a wonderful childhood that’s full of love, understanding and great memories that will help him/her to grow into a strong and compassionate adult. Finally, we promise that your child will be loved unconditionally and will always know they are loved by you.

More About Our Family
We live in the state of...
New Jersey! We celebrate all four seasons and have fun in each. NJ is blessed with a long, sunny summer which we spend at the beach, pool, and Jack's favorite- the water parks! In the fall, we love to go apple picking, pumpkin picking, playing in the leaves, and going to Six Flags. Winters are usually snowy and cold which is always fun! Snow days are for sledding and building snowmen before enjoying hot cocoa. Kat's favorite month is December which is packed full of holiday cheer and traditions, one of her favorites is looking at all the lights and decorations at Disney World. Spring is warm and calm. We spend our days playing at the playground, at the zoo, or at our niece's soccer games waiting for the ice cream truck.
Our Son, Jack
Jack loves to get dirty, collect rocks, play in his sandbox, and kick the ball around the yard. He loves to play cars in every room in the house and uses anything he can find as a ramp. He loves to share his toys with his cousins and even enjoys when he can feed his baby cousin a bottle. Jack has a huge heart and a gentle soul. He will be an amazing big brother!
About Our Home
We fell in love with our home the second we pulled in the driveway. It had green grass, a birdbath, and a large front porch with rocking chairs. It's taken years but we are happy to say that most projects are completed in our forever home. We have a large living room that holds all we need to enjoy time as a family. We have three bedrooms, one is full of Cars and Lion guard walls and stuffed animals (Jack's room), and the other a bright, neutral nursery with a reading nook tent. We have a playroom full of toys for both genders (for when our nieces and nephew come over). Jack loves to play with his train table and make eggs in his play kitchen!
Max is our puppy and he is only a few months old. We met Max the day he was born. He is the sweetest little pup and loves children! Figaro is our cat. Although she is not a kitten anymore, you can find her playing like one once in a while. She is sweet and sassy! She loves to get kisses from Jack and enjoys cuddling on his lap.
Our faith is important to us and our family has a strong relationship with God. We pray every night and thank God and Jesus for every blessing we have received. We hope to instill a loving and faithful relationship with God in our children.
Our Special Interest
Most of our special interests now include what is fun for Jack like going to the zoo, kiddie rides at the boardwalk, or drawing with chalk in the backyard. Jordan likes to play around with tech gadgets, video games, and kick the soccer ball around. Kat likes to read in her downtime, tend to her rose bushes, and even take a warm bubble bath. As a family our special interests include day trips to fun places, trying a new restaurant to eat at, or taking a trip to Disney World (long or short).
We live in a beautiful, little town on the river. It has a beach, bike paths, playgrounds, baseball fields, and a marina all within walking distance. Our home is located two blocks from the elementary school. Our block has loads of families who are very active. The kids are always playing outside together and riding their bikes, it's so wonderful to see. Kat's parents live around the corner and we love to walk down to the water and skip rocks or feed the ducks together. Pop (Kat's dad) can't wait to teach his next grandchild how to skip a rock.
