A Letter from Jon & Linden
Hello, we are Jon and Linden from Ohio and we are thrilled to become first-time parents. We like to explore different cities, try new foods, go on hikes, watch funny movies, help our friends and family with projects and play with our nieces and nephews.
We are excited to become part of your child’s life and look forward to sharing our love, compassion, stability and family with them. We are open to any level of contact you are comfortable with including photos, videos, letters, calls, texts, and visits.
About Us
We like to have fun whenever we can and work hard to get things done. We enjoy:

-Walks in the neighborhood
-Meeting up with friends

-Cooking
-Visiting family
We always work together as a team, tackling chores and helping each other out. We are excited to raise our child as a team, to help them learn, grow, show them how to ride a bike, swim, and help others out.
Adoption has a special place in our hearts because we have many friends and family that have been adopted, chosen to adopt, or have made an adoption plan themselves. We see the happiness and joy that can come from adoption, and we want to grow our family that way.
About Linden
Linden is smart, caring, nurturing, and hardworking. She always keeps our house organized and tidy. She makes sure we eat healthy so that we can stay active. She enjoys baking and always loves to bake with our nieces. She enjoys reading, baking treats, sewing, restoring furniture, dog sitting, and painting her nails. She also likes being outdoors kayaking, hiking, and visiting new parks.
Linden is the one who plans ahead and makes sure we are 100% prepared by packing snacks, towels, bug spray, and all the other essentials, making us ready for anything!
Linden is excited to become a mother. She’s looking forward to teaching your child how to be a good person, how to enjoy learning, and how to make cooking and baking fun. She’s also excited to take them to parks, zoos, museums, fairs, and share with them her love for the outdoors.
About Jon
Jon likes to stay busy with activities like camping, playing tennis, home & yard renovations, and playing with our nieces and nephews. When he is playing with them he is running around and on the playground just as much as the kids. He loves playing hide-and-seek, swinging on the playground, building Legos, puzzles, and playing board games. He is excited to be able to do all of this and more as a father. His goal is to stay strong, healthy, and active for his entire life!
Whenever we need something fixed, Jon can figure it out. He has replaced faucets, plumbing, electrical, and fixed appliances like the water heater, and dryer. He renovated our kitchen and likes to learn about cars and their maintenance as a hobby. Jon is very supportive and when I wanted to get into biking, he fixed up two old bikes for us to use. As a father, he is looking forward to encouraging your child’s interests and teaching all of his knowledge.
Our Family
Our family is so excited and supportive for our adoption. They can’t wait to welcome your child into the family and shower them with love.
Jon has three brothers and a sister while Linden has one sister. Together, we have five nieces and nephews! We have a close relationship with our families and travel to see them regularly. We get together for holidays, and enjoy lots of great food and family time together. We love our traditional holiday meals with turkey and mashed potatoes but also add Mexican, Polish and Chinese foods to the table.
July is one of our favorite months to celebrate the many July birthdays and get together on the Fourth of July with family to enjoy our family’s pool and big grill. We play outside and in the water with the kids all day and end the night watching neighborhood fireworks.
Our Ohio Home
We live in a four-bedroom home in the wonderful city with a fenced-in backyard, perfect for playing outside. Our neighborhood is safe and quiet but also very close to many fun things. We have a park, playground, church, school, and an ice cream shop at the end of our street. The library, shops, restaurants, and even a toy store are all within walking distance as well. We are putting together our nursery and have plenty of space for our family to grow!
Our Promise
We promise to love and cherish your child. We will keep them safe and encourage them to learn, grow and pray. Your child will be financially secure and have opportunities for vacations, camps, sports, activities, and college. We will encourage them and support them through all that they do as they grow and learn. | Our Neighborhood | We live in the city, but our neighborhood is a quiet and comfortable community. Within a mile of our house, we have grocery stores, the library, a school, church, coffee and doughnuts shops, two ice cream shops, a toy store, a trampoline park, a movie theater, restaurants and a community pool and park. Each year the school on our street hosts a community festival that we volunteer at. It brings families together for food, treats, games and music. | |
| Our Careers | We are both happy in our jobs which our lives more positive and less stressful. Jon has grown to learn so much about the engineering behind airplane engines. He’s responsible for their safety and quality. He always takes the time to help new people learn and is patient to get things done right. Linden works at a jewelry company as a supervisor processing new jewelry and making catalogs. She is also grown in her role to buy the latest trends in jewelry to add to new collections. | |
| Adoption in our lives | We have seen many positive effects of adoption in our lives. Linden's grandfather was adopted. We have friends that were adopted, and those friends have chosen to adopt to grow their families.
